The 4th Edition of the International Forum for Migrants in Fquih Ben Salah
A Platform for Dialogue, Investment, and Valuing the Competencies of Moroccans of the World
The city of Fquih Ben Salah is preparing to host the fourth edition of the International Forum for Migrants, from August 1 to 12, 2026, under the supervision of the Governorate of Fquih Ben Salah Province, and organized by the Al-Khawa Al-Oumairiya Al-Mousawiya Association, under the theme: “Talents and Competencies for the Morocco of the Future”, in an annual event that constitutes a national station for dialogue and exchange, combining economic, cultural, and social dimensions, thereby strengthening the connection of Moroccans of the world to their homeland and opening new horizons for cooperation, investment, and territorial development.
This edition is organized in partnership with the Regional Council of Béni Mellal-Khénifra, the Provincial Council of Fquih Ben Salah, the Communal Council of Fquih Ben Salah, the Regional Development Company “Atlas for Tourism Development”, the OCP Group (Office Chérifien des Phosphates), and the Oum Er-Rbia Association for Integrated Development, with support from the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Crédit Agricole du Maroc, and Italia Machine Company.
It is expected that this edition will witness wide participation from Moroccans of the world coming from several countries, alongside officials, representatives of national institutions, economic actors, and investors, enhancing the forum’s status as a space for dialogue, building partnerships, exchanging expertise, and encouraging investment in the province.
The fourth edition is distinguished by a rich and diverse program spanning twelve days, where, during the period from August 1 to 10, three large reception tents will be allocated to welcome migrants in Fquih Ben Salah, Souk Sebt, and Bradia, following the success achieved by the reception tent during the previous edition by welcoming more than 1,500 members of the Moroccan community.
For the first time, the reception tents will witness the participation of representatives from several sectors and institutions concerned with investment, to provide direct information and support to migrants and visitors, thus reinforcing the policy of proximity, encouraging investment, and facilitating access to information and services related to projects and investment opportunities in the province.
Official activities of the forum will launch from August 8 to 12 through a diverse program combining scientific, intellectual, and religious seminars, institutional meetings, as well as cultural, artistic, sports, and heritage activities, making the forum a space for dialogue, exchange of expertise, and strengthening cooperation among various actors.
On August 10, at the headquarters of the Annex of the Governorate of Fquih Ben Salah Province, the forum will host the official celebration of National Migrant Day, which constitutes the central station of the fourth edition, in the presence of official and institutional figures, alongside organizing a visit to the exhibition booths of participating public institutions and administrations, allowing members of the Moroccan community to learn about the various services and programs directed to them, within the framework of bringing the administration closer to users and enhancing the quality of public services.
In the context of encouraging investment, the forum will feature the participation of a delegation of Moroccan and Italian investors to discuss investment opportunities and prospects in the province, and organize direct meetings with various stakeholders and institutions, alongside signing partnership agreements aimed at enhancing economic dynamics, encouraging investment initiatives, and establishing fruitful partnerships between economic actors inside and outside Morocco.
The forum will also celebrate Moroccan talents and competencies hailing from the province of Fquih Ben Salah, residing in Italy, Spain, France, and Germany—women and men who have excelled in the fields of economy, scientific research, health, entrepreneurship, culture, and civil society work, in recognition of their professional paths and contributions to enhancing Morocco’s image, and consolidating their ongoing ties with their homeland.
On the cultural and heritage level, the program includes organizing the heritage caravan “The Sultan’s Pass… The 18th Century” across the province of Fquih Ben Salah (Lower Tadla), an initiative aimed at valuing the historical memory of the province and highlighting its civilization heritage, alongside theatrical performances, Tbourida (traditional equestrian art) competitions, and sports and entertainment activities for various groups, reflecting the richness of the province’s cultural and heritage legacy.
Furthermore, this edition will witness major artistic concerts in both Fquih Ben Salah and Souk Sebt, featuring a selection of artists hailing from the province, alongside national artistic names, celebrating Moroccan cultural and artistic diversity.
The fourth edition of the International Forum for Migrants reaffirms its position as an annual event that brings together the celebration of competencies, encouragement of investment, preservation of collective memory, enhancement of cultural dialogue, and service to the issues of Moroccans of the world, in line with the High Royal Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, aimed at consolidating the connection of the Moroccan community to their homeland and enhancing their contribution to the economic and social development of the Kingdom.
