In a step aimed at strengthening the educational infrastructure and elevating health services in the city of Es-Smara, the Provincial Governor, Mr. Ibrahim Boutoumilat, oversaw the inauguration of the annex of the “Ibn Rochd Private Paramedical Training Institute,” coinciding with the celebrations of the glorious Unity Day.
The opening of this private educational institution comes in response to an urgent need long expressed by the young men and women of the province who wish to enter the nursing and paramedical professions, which will spare them the hardship of travel and the expenses of moving to other cities to pursue their studies and training.
Accompanied by a high-ranking delegation comprising elected officials, heads of external services, as well as civil and military figures, the Provincial Governor conducted a comprehensive field tour inside the institute’s halls. The delegation closely inspected the modern equipment housed in the classrooms designated for theoretical lessons, simulation and practical rooms, as well as laboratories equipped with the latest pedagogical tools adopted in the field of paramedical training.
During this visit, the institute’s management provided detailed explanations to the official delegation regarding the training programs and adopted curricula, as well as the promising employment prospects that these specialties offer in the local and national job market.
According to available data, the institute will provide quality training in vital and highly sought-after specialties within the health sector, primarily:
* Assistant Caregiver
* Nursing Assistant
* Multidisciplinary Nurse
* Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation
This new institution is expected to effectively contribute to creating a training dynamic in the province, bringing professional qualification opportunities closer to the youth of Es-Smara, and equipping them with the competencies and skills necessary for a smooth integration into the healthcare system.
This project also falls within the framework of the province’s openness to private investment in vital social sectors, foremost among which are health and vocational training, considering them essential levers for achieving sustainable human development in the region.
