The General Directorate for National Security (DGSN) organized a reception and a field tour of the various facilities of its new administrative headquarters in Rabat for Presidents of Courts of Cassation, General Prosecutors, and members of higher judicial bodies representing 24 countries from Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
This visit was scheduled on the sidelines of the participation of foreign judicial heads and members in the international conference organized by the Moroccan Court of Cassation, in partnership with the Association of Francophone Supreme Courts (AHJUCAF), under the theme: “Justice and Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Risks.”
This visit falls within the framework of strengthening DGSN’s openness to its national and international environment, introducing the missions of the Moroccan police, highlighting its new and advanced administrative complex, and showcasing the services provided by the security institution to citizens and judicial bodies as an essential component of criminal justice.
In this context, the field tour included an inspection visit to the “Museum of National Security,” where the foreign judicial delegations had the opportunity to closely discover the rich history of the Moroccan security institution, the prominent milestones in its journey, and its remarkable institutional development over the decades in serving the security of the homeland and its citizens.
The occasion also served to brief DGSN’s guests on various vital operational facilities at the new headquarters, foremost among which are the national command and control rooms equipped with surveillance cameras dedicated to securing major Moroccan cities. In addition, the tour included crisis management rooms and the DGSN infrastructure security center, reflecting high readiness and reliance on cutting-edge technologies in managing security affairs.
Furthermore, the participating delegations inspected daily work facilities that provide a modern and integrated working environment, as well as data management centers relying on advanced information systems. The tour concluded with a view of other integrated service facilities within this administrative complex, notably the sports center and the mosque, embodying the comprehensive vision in the design and construction of this new security landmark.
This visit crowns DGSN’s path of institutional openness, reinforcing the initiative of opening the doors of its general headquarters to various partners to enable them to closely witness the level of modernization and development achieved by this security facility, and to observe its permanent readiness to serve the security of the nation and its citizens.
