A first-tier leader in the “Tractor” party suggested, in a statement to the electronic newspaper naftimes, that the committee tasked with drafting the document\u2014which includes members from all four aforementioned parties\u2014has finished preparing the draft, awaiting final approval by the leaders of these political bodies following a period of retreat dedicated to its formulation.<\/p>\n
This comes amid an anticipated new meeting today between Fatima Zahra Mansouri, the appointed Head of Government tasked with forming it, and the leaders of the bloc parties to settle the final arrangements for the new government’s formation.<\/p>\n
Sources did not rule out that Mansouri\u2019s meeting with her prospective government allies would take place this Monday afternoon to officially announce the majority coalition’s makeup. Meanwhile, the Political Bureau of the Party of Progress and Socialism is currently holding a meeting as part of preparations to finalize consultations on forming the government.<\/p>\n
The new government, led by Fatima Zahra Mansouri, is expected to rely on a governmental majority of 210 MPs representing the Authenticity and Modernity, Istiqlal, Socialist Union of Popular Forces, and Progress and Socialism parties. The number of supporting deputies is anticipated to rise to 235 by factoring in the 25 seats held by the Constitutional Union and the Social Democratic Movement parties, which are expected to provide critical support to the government from outside its cabinet composition.<\/p>\n
