It is of a nature to deeply offend Moroccan nationals settled in France, Franco-Moroccans, and all persons attached to the values of respect, dignity, and coexistence. Nothing can justify this act, which stems from a deliberate desire to provoke, fan the flames of hatred, and disturb public order.

Furthermore, other video documents show that women wearing the jersey of the Moroccan national football team, accompanied by young children, were victims of verbal assault and attempts at intimidation by the same individuals.

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in France has referred the matter to the competent French authorities and filed a complaint so that the perpetrators of these acts answer for their actions, in accordance with the law.

The Embassy thanks the French authorities, the police services, and the Town Hall of Aubervilliers for their attentive ear and mobilization. It reaffirms its commitment to the preservation of public order, strict compliance with the laws of the French Republic, and the respect due to the symbols of all countries.

Finally, the sense of responsibility displayed by Moroccan men and women settled on French territory must be commended, as they remain faithful to the values of respect and fraternity that characterize the friendship between Morocco and France.

Sports celebrations must remain moments of joy, gathering, and mutual respect.
