All positions were listed women only.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants were initially told that the company cannot open submitted CVs or photos due to \u201cstorage issues,\u201d and were directed to WhatsApp or LinkedIn messages, where they were requested to resend their documents along with a full-body photograph, according to multiple testimonies.<\/p>\n<p>Seven PM, the sole company recruting for Jazzablanca said it had reported the fraud to LinkedIn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a fake account and a fake job announcement, \u201d the company told Hespress EN in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll recruitment related to the festival is handled internally by Seven PM, which has its own HR department. Any official opportunity or staffing process would therefore come directly through Seven PM\u2019s official channels,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The case blew open after a Moroccan content creator shared her experience on TikTok May 27, explaining how she was targeted by the scam. The video prompted dozens of women to come forward with similar accounts, with several supporting offering testimonies on the video\u2019s comment section.<\/p>\n<p>One victim, who requested anonymity, said she grew suspicious before sending additional photos. \u201cIf I hadn\u2019t stopped when I did, I don\u2019t know where this could have led,\u201d she told Hespress EN.<\/p>\n<p>Morocco\u2019s cybercrime law, Law No. 07-03, criminalises online fraud and the fraudulent collection of personal data, with penalties of up to five years\u2019 imprisonment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A fraudulent recruitment campaign falsely claiming to be affiliated with the Jazzablanca festival is targeting women online seeking work as staff members.
