Virginia Hosts the 10th Edition of \u201cMorocco Day\u201d Celebrating 250 Years of Moroccan-American Relations<\/p>\n
The city of Alexandria, Virginia, will host the 10th edition of the \u201cMorocco Day for Small Businesses Summit\u201d on June 5, organized by the Moroccan American Network under the theme: \u201cCEO Summit and Business Networking Building.\u201d<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s edition carries special significance as it coincides with the celebration of 250 years of diplomatic and trade relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States, as well as the commemoration of the 27th anniversary of Morocco\u2019s Throne Day.<\/p>\n
The economic event will bring together small business owners, federal procurement experts, government officials, and stakeholders in technology and innovation sectors, with the goal of strengthening economic cooperation and expanding investment opportunities and partnerships between Morocco and the United States.<\/p>\n
The summit will be inaugurated by Mohamed Hajjam, President of the Moroccan American Network and CEO of AV Actions, who will present perspectives on economic and technological cooperation between the two nations amid ongoing transformations in the global economy.<\/p>\n
The summit program includes specialized sessions on government procurement, the creative economy, and business expansion, in addition to networking opportunities connecting entrepreneurs with representatives from U.S. governmental and legislative institutions.<\/p>\n
One of the summit\u2019s key sessions will spotlight outstanding Moroccan talent in technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and science by showcasing success stories of Moroccans who have built distinguished careers in the United States.<\/p>\n
The event will conclude with the presentation of the \u201cMorocco Day 2026 Awards\u201d honoring several distinguished individuals and partner institutions, alongside the announcement of upcoming activities and economic forums scheduled throughout the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.<\/p>\n
